"It was [unusual that my son wanted to figure skate], but I had cousin who had been a dancing teacher and wanted to teach him dancing and as a little guy he did, but as he got older he lost interest.
So she said “Why don’t you try skating?”
So, in his early teens he took figure skating lessons and loved it !
I’d look around the Arena and think isn’t it wonderful that we have this, and.... its still here!"
